Samsung is all about the Metaverse concept. After releasing virtual worlds in Decentraland, ZEPETO, and Roblox in the current year, Samsung said at Galaxy Unpacked 2022 that it will shortly introduce its island in the Fortnite Metaverse. This news came soon after Samsung announced partnerships with ZEPETO and Roblox.
“Smart City,” the moniker given to Samsung’s Fortnite metaverse island, is a celebration of the debut of the company’s most recent foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Players of Fortnite who visit Samsung’s island will be able to engage with Samsung items in a simulated setting and experience them firsthand.
In the words of Samsung Latin America, the Smart City is “not only about entertainment but more importantly about discovering and creating relationships.”
In every scenario, gameplay elements and Easter egg hunts must be accomplished to obtain riches within the game.
Hunting for new in-game loots will begin next week
The explorable virtual area includes buildings, bridges, Samsung’s folding phones, and The Freestyle projector. The launch of Smart City in Fortnite is scheduled for August 18.
Complete the Z Series Fun Game Quest to add Samsung Smart City to Fortnite’s Metaverse. Users can search for a buried Galaxy Z. Play hide-and-seek by folding four items. Simply holding the Z Fold 4 in their hands will allow players to access capabilities such as Nightography.
The new foldable phones from Samsung’s have crisper cameras, night photography capabilities, larger batteries, and better build quality. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 cost $999 and $1,799, respectively.
Samsung has unveiled two new Galaxy Watch 5 wristwatch variants, one with 80-hour battery life and noise-canceling headphones.
